TOEFL Student Ambassador Program

Please read these terms and conditions (T&Cs) carefully and ensure that you understand the conditions of the TOEFL Student Ambassador Program you have applied for.

• The ‘TOEFL Student Ambassador Program’ (Program) is applicable only for citizens of India holding valid Indian passports.
• By applying for the TOEFL Student Ambassador Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
  What's in it for you?
  
  1. Payout: You will receive a payout of‚ ₹20,000 for creating and submitting three videos within a span of three months. The payment will be deposited into your Indian bank account.
  2. Certificate of Recognition: Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a Certificate of Recognition as a TOEFL Student Ambassador (Ambassador).
  3. Exclusive Discount Code: You will be provided with an exclusive discount code in your name, allowing you to refer friends and earn ₹500 for each successful registration.
  4. Best Video of the Month: The creator of the best video of each month will receive a cash prize of INR 10,000 and may get a chance to be featured on ETS India's (ETSI) official social media channels.
  
  How to Apply:
  
  • Complete the nomination form available on the provided weblink.
  • Shortlisted candidates may be required to fulfill additional application steps.
  • ETSI reserves the right to select TOEFL ambassadors based on their social media profiles, video submissions, and personal interviews.
  
  What ETSI will Offer:
  
  • Training: Ambassadors will receive training from a content curation agency for effective video creation.
  • Ongoing Support: ETSI will provide continuous support in curating, editing, and promoting the Ambassador’s content.
  • Visibility: Ambassadors will have the opportunity for visibility on official TOEFL iBT social channels.
• An applicant at the time of making an application for the ambassador program shall not be a party or in any manner, related to any litigation in India or outside India.
• The Ambassador shortlisted by ETSI must accept these T&Cs in writing before the deadline i.e., ________
• ETSI will select TOEFL ambassadors based on their social media profiles, recently shot interactive videos, and personal interviews.
• Selected TOEFL student ambassadors will then be required to then create 2 videos on the topic of how TOEFL has enabled them to achieve their dreams to study abroad that will be based on a script that shall be mutually agreed to in advance and with guidance from the ETSI team.
• The videos created by the student ambassadors shall be ready only upon approval from the ETSI team.
• The selection criteria of all the applications shall be non-discriminatory, confidential, efficient, and transparent. The selection process will be based upon a comparison of the merits of all applicants applying for the Program. However, in no case shall ETS India accept any request for reconsideration of results / notifications of the outcome of the results.
• ETSI reserves the right to withdraw a student ambassador from the Program if the selected candidate is subsequently found to be ineligible or if he/she fails to adhere to the T&Cs. Further, ETSI also hereby reserves the right to amend the Program without any notice to the candidates.
• Upon selection, no candidate shall deny acting as an ambassador for TOEFL and/or for participating in advertisement campaigns and/or promoting student referrals and/or such other activities to promote TOEFL or other products being offered by ETSI, as and when required by the ETSI on any platform as ETSI may deem fit.
• The selected candidate of the Program shall, during their course tenure and upon the request of ETSI speak to other potential applicants as a global alumnus about TOEFL test discounts and offers, and create the minimum number of content videos as required by ETSI etc.
• The selected candidate of the Program shall be required to repay the ambassador retainership amount, in full or on pro-rata basis as ETSI may deem fit and proper, in the event such candidate withdraws from the Program before its completion. Where the reason for withdrawal from the Program is due to medical issues, the selected candidate shall be required to submit a copy of his/her medical reports to ETSI.
• ETSI shall have the right to pursue legal action against any participant believed to have undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful for the Program, the entry submission process or to be acting in violation of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) or any other law or regulation.
• All rights, title and interest, including but not limited to the Intellectual Property Rights in any videos uploaded by ETSI shall vest with ETSI only.
• The responsibility of ETSI is only limited to the extent of payment of the ambassador retainer amount and providing the internship certificate to the selected candidate / selected candidate’s indicated bank accounts.
• ETSI shall have the absolute discretion in the selection of the student ambassador and any decision of ETSI in this regard shall be final and binding on the applicants and also the selected candidates.
• Any disputes arising out of these terms and conditions and/or in relation to the grant of the UK-India TOEFL Scholarship shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.
• By participating in the Program, the applicant/ successful candidate, as the case maybe, acknowledge and agree to abide by these T&Cs.
